Weathered Wooden Gate with Snow

Weathered wooden gate sits close to the camera with fresh snow settled on the tops of its vertical boards. The dark gray-brown planks contrast with a soft, out-of-focus pale sky and even, diffuse daylight across the surface. An old dark iron hinge at center is rimed with snow and creates a narrow vertical gap where flakes fall through.
