Gilded Coffered Ceiling with Painting

A gilded coffered ceiling fills the upper interior above a painted altar panel. Dark carved wooden beams are patterned with gold foliate ornament; warm gold and deep brown dominate, with the painted scene below showing flesh tones and blue drapery. Thin metal spikes along the cornice for bird deterrence are visible at the lower edge of the frame.
