Tiny Cup Fungus on Trunk

A tiny cup fungus grows from a narrow fissure in a weathered tree trunk. The photograph shows pale orange on the fungus against muted grays and olive greens, lit with soft, diffuse light and a very shallow focus. A thin curved stalk and nearby patches of lichen and moss are visible in the left foreground.
