Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute

The domes of the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute sit at the edge of the Grand Canal in Venice. Cool blue-gray sky and pale stone domes rise above terracotta roofs, with the canal in the lower frame and a dark wooden water taxi moving toward the camera. A pair of striped mooring poles appears at left while the taxi leaves a narrow wake across the water.
