Marble High Altar and Baldachin

The marble high altar and baldachin sit at the far end of the church nave. Tall marble columns and a looming domed ceiling frame the view; daylight from the side windows lights white and gray stone, warm brown marble and a bright red drapery behind the crucifix. An ornate wrought-iron communion rail and patterned marble floor appear in the foreground.
