Gondolas at Venetian Canal Bridge

Gondolas and a small motorboat are moored in a narrow Venice canal beneath a low stone pedestrian bridge. Pale beige and weathered brick façades rise on either side, dark shutters and wrought-iron balconies punctuate arched windows, and the green-gray water reflects the buildings under an overcast sky. Several window planters and areas of peeling plaster are visible on the façades, and scaffolding wrapped in white sheeting appears in the distance.
