Gilded Ceiling with Frescoes

A gilded ceiling with multiple oval and rectangular fresco panels sits above a wood-paneled hall. The frame and mouldings are bright gold, the paintings show flesh-toned figures against blue and neutral skies, and the photo is taken from a low, wide-angle viewpoint. The carved gilding shows heavy tooling and polished highlights where the light hits the highest relief.
