Saint Theodore atop crocodile

The statue of Saint Theodore stands on a carved crocodile on a high plinth, holding a spear and a shield. The stone is pale and streaked with weathering while the spear and circular halo show a greenish bronze patina; the shot is taken from below against an overcast gray sky. A single seagull perched on the cornice at lower left adds a lived-in detail.
