Gilded Zodiac Sun Clock

The gilded zodiac sun clock sits set into an ornate Baroque ceiling and is framed by sculpted gilt moldings. Carved frames surround painted narrative panels in deep blue, red and flesh tones; a round blue clock face with a radiating gold sun medallion contrasts with burnished ornament and low directional light. A patch of varnish glare on the left painting and a central filigree grille are clearly visible in the shot.
